This is a great opportunity for an experienced IT Sales Manager to join a long established but still growing independent IT company with a wide portfolio of market leading products and services.

Working in an IT Sales Manager role, you will:

  • Oversee and manage a team of seven, consisting of dedicated Account Managers and New Business Sales Executives
  • Be an inspirational leader, coaching to improve team member performance and creating an environment for personal development of all team members
  • Ensure all department KPI’s are met including opportunity management, sales targets and outbound call volumes and will help the team to propose appropriate technical solutions
  • Manage existing and potential customer relationships to ensure that sales are generated, a robust new business pipeline maintained and maximising department profitability
  • Attend customer meetings to ensure consistent delivery of solutions, service and brand
  • Make informed commercial decisions both tactical and strategic
  • Work with existing customers and identify, initiate contact with, convert and on-board new customers
  • Monitor individual team member KPI’s and ensure these are achieved
  • Ensuring the continued growth of OPEX and CAPEX sales in line with or greater than forecasts
  • Plan and attend networking events

If successful, you will have flexible working hours, starting between 08:00 & 10:00 and finishing between 16:50 & 18:50 depending on start time (minimum 7-hour 50-minute day + 1-hour lunch break), Monday to Friday. Flexible remote working is fully supported subject to business needs.

To be considered for this IT Sales Manager role you should have:

  • A minimum of 3 years commercial sales management experience with an IT, telephony or photocopier company or similar
  • A minimum 5 years’ experience advising and delivering technical solutions
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to set individual and team objectives
  • Excellent presentation and project management and delivery skills and be able to produce high quality documentation
  • The ability to promote all company services to existing customer base and build and manage new customer relationships, and
  • Be passionate about putting the customer first and delivering exceptional customer service

Salary £35,000-£40,000 depending on experience, plus enhanced holiday accrual, company pension, private medical cover and life insurance (subject to length of service)
