As Technical Compliance Manager at this food manufacturing company, you will be part of the site management team – ensuring compliance with all statutory obligations, customer requirements, company policies with respect to food safety and due diligence. You will also develop and implement effective management systems to ensure operational and technical integrity at all times
As Technical Compliance Manager, duties will include:
Develop and implement a site plan to deliver continuous improvement against quality, cost and technical KPI’s and ensure that the factory & suppliers maintain the standards required by all customers and relevant codes of practice/guidelines.
Review & develop your team in order to ensure that they maintain acceptable standards of performance, attendance & behavior and improve their performance against standards & targets, ensuring they are equipped to deliver against all expectations
To ensure that the site is legally & contractually compliant in all areas and to actively promote hygiene & health & safety
Achieve planned production throughout and food safety standards
Monitor the ongoing progress of the operation, liaising with operations and other departments as necessary to predict problem areas & develop solutions
Ensure that all employees within your team are aware of their roles/accountabilities, that training is provided to meet these and that company employment & communication policies are complied with
Ensure that the site achieves and maintains the targeted level of accreditation through customer/legal auditing processes
Attain BRC accreditation for the site
Technical Compliance Manager applicants must have an industry recognised technical qualification – HND/Degree or equivalent, advanced HACCP and a demonstrable track record of delivering continuous improvement in technical and food safety standards.
